MEDITATIONS: HOLDING ON!

When the clouds become dense,

When the battle with sin rages intense,

Every fibre in my being growing tense,

And nothing seems to make sense,

Lord help me to see through Your lens,

Rest in Your love for me that's immense,

And know that Calvary You already paid the expense.

When the mountains seem too steep,

When the valleys seem too deep,

When darkness begins to creep,

And my strength and hope starts to seep,

Left with nothing much to do but weep,

Help me hold on and know that Your promises You keep!

MEDITATIONS: FOR YOUR GLORY

Oh that I may not live for man's acclaim,
Striving to be always at the top of the game,
Mainly as a ladder to my fame,
Rather that it'd be for the glory of Your name.

Oh that with boldness Your word I'll proclaim,
By faith your promises claim,
Despite the doubts and fears that maim.

Oh that my tongue and flesh I'll learn to tame,
That in my walk with You,I'll not become lame,
Transform me that I'll not remain the same.
This I pray,for the glory of Your name.
