She had a killer smile...
She was dressed to kill...
For a moment I was dazed and stood still.
BROWN SKIN MURDER!!!
Rangi alikuwa ya thao...
Kidogo nijipate nimetupa mbao.

And kill she did.
She killed my resolve to look the other way.
As my eyes lustfully followed her hips sway.
The height of her heels accentuated her assets.
The depth of my depravity letting loose my liabilities.
My Achilles heel you could say.

I soon kept up her pace.
She requested if I could escort her to her place.
Tête-à-tête kijana nikajitetea.
Intro kiasi,akadai jina ni Taquisha
Akasema jibu ni karibu ikiwa nitabisha.
Kwisha...Msupa kajipa.
Nilidhani namchinjia kumbe nilikuwa najipeleka kichinjio...

I liked the conversation's progression.
My body giving a standing ovation.
But soon deep within welled some tension.
My conscience prompting some hesitation.

We got to her place and I hastily said Bye.
I refused though she pleaded I come in see her tie and dye.
I couldn't trust my flesh as within me raged a fire.
Entangled in the mesh of my waged war with desire.
I walked ,nay, fled...struggling hard not to look back.
Were it not for His grace,sidhani ningehack.

You see the Enemy comes to steal,kill and destroy.
Thankfully the Holy Spirit alerted me of the Devil's ploy.
And reminded me of a deeper and greater joy,
Than seeing and using this lady as a toy.

As I meditate on Scripture God's continual warnings are clear. 

Proverbs 5 and 7 warns of the strange woman. It gives a scenario of an ox heading for slaughter...blood chilling (Ch.5v.22).

I am warned against spending/wasting my strength(Prov.31v.3)

Ecclesiastes talks of a snare.(Ch.7 v 26)

Paul's charge to Timothy is to flee. (2Tim.2:22)

This is a call unto my fellow men to "pull a Joseph"  when enticed by the Potiphar's wives of our culture..."Kukataa kukula hata ukipakuliwa"

Si ati nimefika. Bado kungangana kama Nganga:p
Its not easy but God assures us of His strength.
